Red Hot Chili Peppers
Everyone has heard the joke that the Red Hot Chili Peppers have created the same album 15 times and no one noticed. But nonetheless, they have still created some insane music that anyonne can hang back and vibe to. Californication, one of the greatest albums of the 90s, adds a rock and funk vibe to make an alternative album that paves the way for many bands to come. Scar Tissue, Otherside, and Californication are songs that just can't be matched.
Turnover
Turnover is a gift to all alternative, and just in general, music lovers. With their first album, Peripheral Vision, you have a melancholy almost dazed vibe that almost immediately changes your mood without even minding it. A sadness reigns over you and you become almost grateful that you get to experience such a different type of music. Their latest album, Good Nature, which was thought to never having been able to top Peripheral Vision, was equally as amazing. A different vibe emits from this record. An upbeat, summer, contenment washes over you as you listen. Two albums that you can find almost no faults in, other than there are not more of them.
