My name is Lauren. I find most of my passion in travel, photography, fashion, reading, and love. I was born in Royal Oak, MI and spent the first five years of my life enjoying family, friends, and fall colors. My family made the bold decision to leave the nest of extended family in Michigan and move to Nagoya, Japan for three years. Nagoya was the beginning of my life travels and learning, where my love of adventure initiated. As a five year old I learned how to adapt and respect other cultures. We started our international travel as a family there and visited many places including areas of China, Europe, Australia, and islands such as Indonesia and Hawaii. As our time was up in Japan, we took our things and hauled back to Michigan for a year, only to find ourselves packing up the U-haul for Irvine, CA. Here we enjoyed five years of sandy beaches and beautiful weather. Though to make things complicated, not much longer and we were on to the next opportunity to create a life for ourselves in Southlake, TX. Here I went to half of 8th grade and all of high school. I limped the stage of Carroll High School football stadium with my green cap and gown, surgical knee brace, and white, size 8.5 high-top Converse, finding myself a week later in a car on a three day trip back to CA. We moved to Newport Beach; yes, wonderful, amazing, sunny, every happy word imaginable, Newport Beach. We've lived there for two years, with the time span we stay somewhere continuing to shorten. We made the six day trek and finally arrived in Pinckney, MI. A new adventure for my family begins and I guess we'll see where we find ourselves after the five year lease ends...
