The Atlanta Hawks are an American professional basketball team based in Atlanta, Georgia and played their home games at Phillips Arena . They are part of the Southeast Division of the Eastern Conference in the National Basketball Association. During their glorious history a great amount of basketball stars played for the Hawks, but Dominique Wilkins is considered to be the best to have ever worn an Hawks jersey. In today's roster, the greatest players are Al Horford , Joe Johnson and Josh Smith .
