Film Media and Communications Society of John Cabot University

Our Mission

At the Film Media and Communications Society, we believe that art, and especially film, is a home where creativity and expression flourish. We aim to create a space at John Cabot University where students can not only explore their passions for media but also connect with professionals in the industry and bring their ideas to life.

What We Do

Throughout this semester and the next, we are excited to offer workshops that guide our members from concept to creation. These workshops will lead to the production of a short film, which will be filmed in the upcoming semester. However, we encourage a collaborative environment, where multiple projects and creative ideas are welcome.

Our Journey

Starting the Film Media and Communications Society at John Cabot University wasn't easy, but with determination and collaboration, we’re bringing this vision to life. Although the society had been inactive for years, our team worked tirelessly, even through the summer months, to ensure its revival. It’s thanks to the dedication and trust of those involved that we are building a vibrant and welcoming community for aspiring filmmakers, communicators, and media enthusiasts.
