Claude Monet
French painter and founder of Impressionism painting who is seen as a key precursor to modernism, especially in his attempts to paint nature as he perceived it. He lived from 1840-1926.
Pierre Auguste Renoir
A French artist who was a leading painter in the development of the Impressionist style. It has been said that, as a celebrator of beauty and especially feminine sensuality. He lived from 1841-1919.
Wayne Thiebaud
An American painter known for his colorful works depicting commonplace objects. Thiebaud is regarded as one of the United States' most beloved and recognizable artists. He lived from 1920-2021.
