Trastevere is rione XIII of Rome, on the west bank of the Tiber, south of Vatican City. Its name comes from the Latin trans Tiberim, meaning literally "beyond the Tiber". The correct pronunciation is "tras-TEH-ve-ray", with the accent on the second syllable. Its logo is a golden head of a lion on a red background, the meaning of which is uncertain. To the north, Trastevere borders on to the XIV rione, Borgo. |

Milvian Bridge is a bridge that connects the square yard of Cardinal Consalvi at the Milvian Bridge in Rome , in neighborhoods Flaminio , Parioli , Della Vittoria and Tor di Quinto . It was built where the river from the north penetrated the ancient city of Rome , today the urbanized area extends for many miles beyond. It was built along the streets of Flaminia and Via Cassia , as a necessary step to head north, and there also flowed into the streets Clodia and Veientana . The Romans called popularly bridge Mollo. |
