Aloo Bhotta
Ingredients:
- 2 Big Potatoes
- 1/2 an onion
- 3 small chillis
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- Salt
- Rapeseed oil
Method:
Boil the potatoes in a a small pot with water.
To see if the potatoes boiled, stick a toothpick in the potatoes.
If the toothpick dips in smoothly, then the potatoes are boiled.
If they are stuck or do not go all the way in the middle, then they are not boiled properly.
Throw away the water from the pot.
Peel the skin off from the potatoes
(Becareful of the heat. You can cool them down in the sink by leaving the cold water running.)
Smash the potatoes with a fork in a small bowl until all mooshy.
Dice the onion.
Chop the chillies.
Add them in the small bowl with the mashed potatoes.
Add salt.
Mix with the fork (To mix uniformly, use your hands.
It might get a bit sticky with the potatoes but hey, it's fun! Especially if stressed out!)
Add a teaspoon of rapeseed oil.
(if too much is added, it will get to your heaad.
Just like drinking too much coca-cola quickly...)
Mix again.
