Life's too short to be tied down

South Africa, Johannesburg, 1994. I was mainly raised by my mother and saw my father every second week. Growing up I had the best memories a child could ask for. Being raised with openness and respect for each and every individual, I knew that there was more to life than staying in one place. I studied after highschool, worked part time and saved money. My first destination was; Phuket, Thailand. I fell inlove, immediately and I knew that this would be my new life.

In between staying in Thailand, I had the chance to travel to other countries, such as, China, Hong Kong and Laos. I had to be out of Thailand to renew my visa, so why not travel. I am in awe of every single piece of Asian architecture, food, music and fashion garments. Many of these places are so underrated, so showing my family and friends my new world through images, is one of the greatest gifts I could give and share.

Rigt now, I am in Hanoi, Vietnam. Life has surprised me again with beautiful landscapes, cute children (to teach) and royal treatment. I constantly get stopped for pictures because of my features and the importance of having to look camera ready is constant. I enjoy learning more about non-western life and being out of m comfort zone pushes me to become the best person that I could ever be.
