Ferzan Ozpetek: Ferzan Özpetek è nato nel 1959 a Istanbul, nel quartiere di Fener, da una famiglia della borghesia locale, imparentata per via materna con due pascià. Al momento di scegliere come proseguire gli studi si oppone alla volontà paterna, che vorrebbe che completasse gli studi negli Stati Uniti, e ottiene, grazie all'appoggio della madre, di trasferirsi come studente universitario a Roma, in Italia, nel 1976, per studiare Storia del cinema alla Sapienza, dove completerà la sua formazione, frequentando corsi di Storia dell'Arte e del Costume all'Accademia Navona e corsi di regia all'Accademia nazionale d'arte drammatica Silvio D'Amico.	Gabriele Muccino: Figlio di Luigi Muccino, dirigente RAI, e di Antonella Cappuccio, costumista e pittrice, Gabriele Muccino si iscrive alla facoltà di Lettere dell'Università La Sapienza di Roma, ma abbandona quasi subito gli studi universitari per avvicinarsi al cinema, offrendosi in qualità di assistente volontario e frequentando il Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia di Cinecittà nel corso di regia. Per anni dirige mini docu-fiction della durata di sette minuti, che ricostruiscono incidenti realmente avvenuti e terminati a lieto fine, per il programma Ultimo Minuto di Rai 3. Grazie a questa lunga esperienza Muccino avrà modo di esplorare e trovare un suo stile personale di racconto, che svilupperà in seguito negli anni in cui diverrà un cineasta.	Peter Weir: Weir was born in Sydney, the son of Peggy (née Barnsley Sutton) and Lindsay Weir, a real estate agent. Weir attended The Scots College and Vaucluse Boys' High School before studying arts and law at the University of Sydney. His interest in film was sparked by his meeting with fellow students, including Phillip Noyce and the future members of the Sydney filmmaking collective Ubu Films.	Peter Jackson: Jackson has long cited several films as influences. It is well known that Jackson has a passion for King Kong, often citing it as his favourite film and as the film that inspired him early in his life. Jackson recalls attempting to remake King Kong when he was 12. At the 2009 San Diego Comic-Con International, while being interviewed alongside Avatar and Titanic director James Cameron, Jackson said certain films gave him a "kick". He mentioned Martin Scorsese's crime films Goodfellas and Casino, remarking on "something about those particular movies and the way Martin Scorsese just fearlessly rockets his camera around and has shot those films that I can watch those movies and feel inspired." Jackson said the 1970 film Waterloo inspired him in his youth. Other influences include George Romero and Sam Raimi.	David Heyman: David Jonathan Heyman (born 26 July 1961) is an English film producer and the founder of Heyday Films. In 1999, he secured the film rights to the Harry Potter film series and went on to produce all eight instalments, becoming one of the most central crew members over the course of the eight films. In 2013, as the producer of Gravity, he was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Picture and won a BAFTA Award for Best British Film, his second collaboration with director Alfonso Cuarón after Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.
