The Beginning of Casa Mia

His name was Kevin Sachdev and he began with a dream. A dream to bring Italian furniture to Thailand. At first it was not easy but through effort and struggle, he was able to convince the first investor, Professor Marco to finance his business idea. After surveying the right location for a month, Kevin launched Casa Mia's first branch in Bangkok. The furniture in the first store was the best anyone's ever seen. In it they had everything from home mugs, to the most expensive appliances, and all kinds of special clothes. The furniture was so good that everyone in the house loved it. Their first day was spent getting everything together, and when you get a new coat, they make it. No one ever asked to work for that kind of stuff; however, the first few months were so fun, it really took off. These women just really loved working in this store and this company was like family as much as work.

Expansion

The branch that opened in Bangkok proved to be extremely successful. In the beginning there weren't that many customers because at that stage, the market for luxury furniture in Thailand wasn't able to handle Casa Mia. Then, as more people saw the incredible quality and design of the store, they began to come in numbers. Eventually, it was hard to handle all of the people. This led to Mr.Sachdev choosing to open up 2 more locations in Hua Hin and Pattaya. The new furniture stores did well. There were many customers. They came to buy classical furniture form Italy. There was also something to do in Spain, as well. There were so many great local brands that came and left with people wanting to try Italian furniture.

The great thing about it was that that was how it happened in the first place. All these Italian companies came in and they brought furniture to the market, so they were trying every kind of Italian product.
