Here, we have a display of a lot of really cool patterns! All the way on the left, we have a classic 'V' Shape bracelet. You can create this bracelet with any variation of colors, it is one of the easiest to make! The bracelet in the middle and on the right are the same pattern as that one too!
Second from the right, we have the moat basic design, the 'Candy Stripe' pattern! This is the pattern that everyone starts off with, to get the hang of making all the different kinds of bracelets.
Then, second from the left, we have a more complicated on, a cool 'Zig Zag' design! This one is a little more complex, so you have to have some practice with the other two previously mentioned patterns before you try something as crazy as this one.
Now, before you even start you first bracelet, one of the most important things to know is how you create your knots. There are two basic kinds of knots, the forward knots, and the backwards knots. The forwards knots are the only knots used in that basic 'Candy Stripe' design I was talking about earlier. The 'V' shape only uses basic forwards and backwards knots on the left and right side, respectively.
Now, a little more complex knots, we have the forward-backward and the backward-forward. This are used on more complicated patterns and allow you to leave the string in the same spot after you make the knots. The picture on the right displays how you can create these knots.
