Rome

roma

Rome is a city that breathes history. What do I mean by this? Well, every cobblestone
tells us the tales of emperors, ancient civilizations, artists, and more that shaped Rome
to what it is now. Rome is much more than just its ancient ruins. It is a vibrant city with a big heart.

Trastevere: My home away from home. Trastevere is such a charming and lively city. It
has a bohemian feel with cobblestone streets, beautiful buildings, and, like I said, a lively nightlife.
Enjoy Trastevere at its finest by going to Bar San Calisto or try gelato at Otaleg.
Prati: Located north of the Vatican, this elegant city gives us more of the modern side of Rome.
Try going shopping on Via Cola di Rienzo. It was beautiful.

Pasta: Treat yourself in a classic Roman pasta dish. Cacio e Pepe, Carbonara, Amatriciana, and Gricia are just only some options.
Pizza: Roman-style pizza is thin, crispy, and baked to perfection in a wood-oven. Try any kind of pizza. You will not be disappointed.
Gelato: My favorite dessert of all time. Get this fantastic dessert at a local gelateria. Every flavor is amazing.

Aventine Hill Keyhole: Peek through the Knights of Malta Keyhole for a perfect frame view of St. Peter's Basilica. It for sure took my breath away.

Appian Way: Walk along the ancient Appian Way. It was one of the first roads of Rome.
