Lisbon was an amazing city. The local culture was fantastic, and the climate matched it. The weather and views of the ocean reminded me of my home in California.
The first part of the city that I explored was the castle. It was an awesome piece of history, and offered an incredible view of the city. Not a bad way to start my visit.
I will never get tired of visiting castles. In pretty much every city I've traveled to in Europe, I have made an effort to visit the castle in the city, if there is one.
My friends and I made a day trip up to Sintra to visit the Sintra Palace. The foggy conditions on the mountaintop created a incredible vibe up at the palace.
Just before leaving, my girlfriend and I went to mass at the Estrela Basilica. It was a beautiful church. This is one of my favorite pictures I've taken in Europe.
