The Brasstown Bald Summit offers the most spectacular view of perhaps any of the hikes we have listed. Standing at 4,784 feet above sea level, the summit is the highest point in the state of Georgia.
The Summit is nestled within the Chattahoochee-Oconoee National Forests, with the .6 mile Brasstown Bald Summit Trail offering an easy yet steep path to the top, traversing through a forest of mossy rock and native vegetation.
Once you reach the top, you're gifted with great picnic areas, a store selling local products, and a view including four states: Georgia, Tennesee, North Carolina, and South Carolina.
