The Craggy Pinnacle Trail takes you from the cultural hotspot of North Carolina, Asheville, through beautiful gardens and a unique ecosystem of native flora, and up a rock wall to the jaw-dropping summit.
The hike is 1.2 miles total, out-and-back, around 40 minutes with a 250 feet elevation gain.
The best time to go is in the evening, to watch the sun set over the rolling mountains of North Carolina.
