Oman,is a country located in the middle east. The capital city of Oman is known as Muscat, it is home to the massive, contemporary Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, and the old waterfront Muttrah quarter, with its beautiful souk and busy fish market. Oman is a nation on the Arabian Peninsula, it is surrounded by desert, riverbed oases and long coastlines on the Persian Gulf, Arabian Sea and Gulf of Oman. There are many cities in Oman such as, Nizwa, Salalah, Sohar and more. Sohar is known to be located in the center of Oman, it's a two hour drive away from Dubai (UAE). In Addition, Salalah is known for its autumn festival. Also, Salalah is considered a very green city in comparison with Muscat. Oman is known to be an advanced yet traditional country. This is what makes Oman a special country.
