BARCELONA
Barcelona was one of the first trips I planned with my friends. We decided that the best time to go was Halloween Weekend. We left Thursday night and as soon as we landed we went to our hostels and then met up for dinner with everyone including Alexis roommate from school who is studying in Barcelona this semester. We had some tapas and while and then hit the bars. We stopped at two or three before making it to a club called Bling Bling. Marissa and I ended up being the last ones to go home but we made it. The next morning we woke up and went to brunch with Daniella, Truman, Mark, Maya Kelly and Sam. It was supposed to be a double date but we wanted food. After that we walked around the city of Barcelona until it came time to meet up with everyone at the ..... Once we were done we went and got dressed for dinner. Dinner was great but we alexis and I thought that they had Mexican flautas which actually ended up being sandwiches. From there we went to a bar where we got blackout trays. The name speaks for itself. From there we went to Opium which is one of the most well known clubs in Barcelona. There were so many people that we lost half of our friends but Alexis, Nina, Jack, Marissa and I pulled through. We ended up getting into the VIP section with aushi where we got a lot of free stuff. Then I was able to swing from the swing at the club. Marissa and I ended up staying after everyone left and sat on the beach and finally made it back to our hostel at 730 in the morning. We took a little snooze and then woke up to meet Alexis and Nina for brunch .... I had eggs benedict and it was amazing. Nina then took us to her favorite park where there was a beautiful waterfall. Then we tried going to the park with the bench but the tickets were sold out so we went through the side but the view was still incredible. That night was Halloween. I went to a nice dinner with Sam, Kelly, Joey K., Marissa and Erin and then we met everyone at a bar called D9. From there we had all bought tickets for razzmatazz but never made it in because everyone was pushing and shoving and running people over and alexis almost got trampled on the way people get hurt on black Friday. Instead Alexis, NIna, Joey and I went to another bar and sat down with a pitcher of sangria and some nachos... it was a super successful night.
