Steven Adams has exploded for 25 points and 12 rebounds, starring on the Oklahoma City Thunder's 107-99 win over the Indiana Pacers. The win, OKC's second in their last eight games, keeps OKC in the hunt for home advantage in the first round of the Western Conference finals. Adams' big haul was well overdue with the Kiwi's season average recently dropping below a double-double for the first time this season. His form has been mirrored by the Thunder who have dropped to seventh in the West, in danger of drawing the Golden State Warriors in the first round.

Paul George also scored 31 points and Russell Westbrook earned yet another triple-double in the win, which lifted OKC's season record to 44-31. Early in the second half, the Thunder looked headed for yet another lacklustre defeat as the Pacers built a 10-point lead but pushed back in the third quarter to score 24 consecutive points across seven minutes. Earlier, Seth Curry scored a team-high 20 points to lead the Portland Trail Blazers to a fifth straight victory, a 118-98 away rout of the Chicago Bulls. Boylen, who recently took over for Fred Hoiberg and was tasked with resetting the Bulls culture, said he liked to see the fight his team displayed in yet another blowout loss. "That's all we've been talking about is fighting for each other, and we talk about being a pack of wolves, man," Boylen said. "I thought we had some of that. I liked the look in our guys' eyes when that happened. It bonded them a little bit. That's what we've been talking about. Those things are going to come up again, it happens in the league. I think we'll be ready for it next time to handle it even better."

It's been a difficult season for the Chicago Bulls, and the struggles continued Monday night in a 121-96 loss on the road to the Oklahoma City Thunder. Tempers flared in the third quarter with the Bulls trailing by 21 when Russell Westbrook and Kris Dunn made contact, leading Dunn to shove Westbrook in the chest with both hands. Westbrook's Thunder teammate Jerami Grant came to his defense, which prompted the Bulls' Robin Lopez and Bobby Portis to join the scuffle. Lopez appears to head-butt Grant, who proceeded to drag Lopez down onto fans sitting in the courtside seats. Other players and coaches got in the mix to try and separate the players, including Bulls head coach Jim Boylen, who grabbed Grant, and Thunder assistant Dave Bliss, who got in the way of a heated Lopez.
