Sardinia Sailing Center

Sardinia Sailing Center is located in the heart of the Maddalena Archipelago National Park, in the southeastern part of the Bocche di Bonifacio. A unique location that over the years has made the school a bulwark in safeguarding and protecting the environmental heritage. The school is located in the south-eastern part of the island of Spargi, which offers shelter from all winds and in particular from the dominant ones, Ponente and Maestrale. These characteristics make this stretch of sea particularly suitable for learning to sail and to sail safely in a wide range of weather and sea conditions. On the ground, immersed in the Mediterranean scrub, and connected by a single white road, are the three different bases of the school. The main settlement located on the western side of the island, is derived from a nineteenth-century outpost of the Navy. While the other two, consisting of tucul - hospitable structures with low environmental impact, camouflaged in the vegetation - face south directly on Bocche di Bonifacio. Sardinia Sailing Center is able to host up to 208 people on the ground and 34 on board its largest boats.
