My name is Claire Massey and I am a student studying abroad in Rome, Italy. I am recording my time here and my travels through the lense of my camera. I enjoy finding not only beautiful scenery, but also scenes of everyday life and the average person which is why I have catalogued my pictures into PEOPLE, PLACES and THINGS. While I am new at photography (and certainly not a professional), I enjoy using my creativity to take snapshots of my surroundings whether it be a beautiful beach, a smiling face or an inspiring work of art. When I am not behind the camera I am usually in class, reading or having dinner with friends. My home college is the University of Wisconsin - Madison. There I am pursuing a degree in Journalism and Mass Communication with a minor in Computer Science. I stay engaged in the campus community as president of the Lutheran Campus Ministry at Madison, as a dance instructor at Madison Swing and as the social chair of Euchre Club.
