Hi! My name is Abigail, and I am a study abroad student from Denver, Colorado. I am studying here for four months. In this website, you will find my top three favorite places that I have traveled so far during my time in Europe, and you will also find the future trips that I plan to go on before I leave in December.

My Home Base: Rome, Italy

In August, I arrived in Rome to study at John Cabot University for the semester. I was born in Denver, Colorado, I go to school in San Diego, California, and I had never been to Europe. So I was very excited to get the opportunity to travel many places while also living in Rome. So far, I have traveled seven places: Greece, Venice, Florence, Munich, Paris, London, and Croatia.

In Rome, I am living and attending school in the Trastevere Neighborhood. Below are a few pictures of my time so far. The first picture is the view from my apartment just five minutes away from campus. The second photo is from the city center of Rome, and the third photo is a sunset on the Tiber River from September.

My favorite thing about Rome is that there is so much to do here. The weather has been so nice, and seeing everything is never ending. One of my favorite places here is Villa Borghese: a huge park near the Spanish Steps. I come here to read, people watch, and enjoy the weather. I love to just walk around the city, try new restaurants, and explore new shops.

In The Future

I leave Europe on December 16 to go back home. But, before then, I still have several trips planned! I plan to go to Ireland, Scotland, Switzerland, and Prague. I also am spending a few more weekends here in Rome, and my family is coming to visit in November, so I get to show them around the beautiful city!
