Taos, New Mexico: A Desert Oasis

The Taos Ski Valley is nestled against Taos Mountain, about 40 minutes away from Taos proper. It is a European style ski village, with plenty of lodging and great food. The mountain has runs for everybody, but be prepared, it is a mountain that takes years to learn and decades to master!

There are two other ski valleys within an hour of Taos, Angel Fire and Sipapu. Both of these valleys are little bit easier, and a little bit cheaper. Taos Ski Valley, however, has the most lodging, delicious food, and the liveliest music scene!
