Welcome to the website of the Nadudana (generally pronounced “Nadana”) Association of Australia and New Zealand. The Association was launched under this new name in 2021 with the aim to promote the breed nationally and provide key services to its member who are breeders and owners of this fascinating and ancient breed of cattle.

To popularize and promote the Nadudana cattle breed in Australia and New Zealand and to lift it out of its Critical Breed Status (its current status with the Rare Breeds Trust of Australia) thus securing the future of the breed, in accordance with the established breed standard.

To support and encourage networking among Nadudana owners and breeders and share information on the breed and to be a central contact point for Nadudana breeders throughout Australia. To promote the breed and lift its profile among breeders and growers of cattle. To establish registration criteria and maintain a registry and herd book of Nadudana cattle in Australia and New Zealand.
