I absolutely enjoyed visiting San Padre Pio's church. Just like Cascia, this place too serves as a place of reflection and prayer, whilst admiring the story of Padre Pio who lived here. There is also a adjacent church that holds a icon of Saint Clara of Assisi, one of the first female followers of Saint Francis of Assisi. In this adjacent church it is also displayed the confessionary that Padre Pio himself always attended weekly.
