Brit Awards

Brit Awards are the British Phonographic Industry's annual popular music awards. The name was originally a shortened form of "British" or "Britannia", but subsequently became a backronym for British Record Industry Trusts Show.

In 2009 their album "Only by the Night" was nominated for the Brit Awards in the category Best International Album and won.

In the same year they were nominated as a band in the category Best International Group in which they also won.

Grammy Awards

Grammy Awards are the awards presented by The Recording Academy to recognize achievements in the music industry.
The annual presentation ceremony features performances by prominent artists, and the presentation of those awards that have a more popular interest.

In 2010 Kings of Leon have one a grammy in the category Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal twice for their two most famous songs: Sex on Fire and Use Somebody.

The song Use Somebody has also won two other Grammys for being the Record of the Year and Best Rock Song
