The EP’s first and only single “Life of the Party” was released on June 25, 2014 and peaked at #24 on the Billboard 100.

Handwritten is the debut studio album, released on April 14, 2015, via Island Records. Prior to the album, a self-titled extended play was released, featuring tracks “Life of the Party,” “Show You,” “One of Those Nights” and “The Weight.”

Commercially, the album debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart, selling 119,000 copies in its first week of release.

Illuminate is Shawn Mendes' second studio album released on September 23, 2016, through Island Records and Universal Music Group. Musically, the album contains music genres of pop, rock, and blues.
