Max makes up an exciting new generation of artists emerging out of New York. His approach behind the decks relies heavily on his lived experience, fierce instincts, and his keen storytelling ability. Over the past few years, Max has established a resonant voice within the electronic music community.

The rituals surrounding electronic music have always fascinated Max - the devotion to craft, the importance of empathy, and emphasis on community. Max pulls both contemporary tracks and enduring sounds of the past. The result: timeless.

Growing up in New York, Max began working in nightlife at the age of 15 when he was hired by Selah Marley to design and build a party installation in downtown Brooklyn named Primordial Palace.

While Max was raised in Brooklyn, he was originally born in New Orleans, Louisiana. In September 2005, Hurricane Katrina tore through the Gulf of Mexico and ravaged New Orleans, resulting in his family's relocation to New York City when Max was only two years old.

Years later, his discovery of electronic music in NYC led him to dance floors across the world - Kyiv, Brussels, Paris, and Berlin all contributing to his track selection. After graduating from Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School, his career behind the decks accelerated rapidly.
