Born in Portland, Maine USA, Clews grew up intrested in a range of topics and activities, from sailing to film production.
In spring 2020 she worked as a social media manager for Rippleffect, a nonprofit youth outdoor education assocciation.
Starting in September 2021, Clews was a joint inter at Portland Press Herald and Maine Audubon Society.
Where she worked with the chief editor to create promotional photo content.
From fall 2018 to spring 2021, she raced at a high level on her highschool's varisty sailing team, and was elected team captain her final year.
In spring 2021, she graduated from Portland High School as Vice President of her class and a member of National Honor Society.
During spring 2021, at 17, she moved to Keystone Colorado to work at Keystone Ski Resort.
Summer 2021, Clews was a 420 sail boat race coach, for a team of 12 highschool students at Kollegewidgwok Yacht Club in Blue Hill, Maine, USA.
Enrolling at John Cabot University, at 18, Clews moved across continents to Rome Italy, where she currently lives.
Here she studies communications theory and media production. Using creativity and practicallity in her works.
Working a verity or projects both on an off campus, she has worked with nonprofit art foundation Chateau La Napoule, as well as Triton Media Italy, producing short video and photo content.
In summer of 2023, she moved breifly to Porto Rotondo in Sardenga, Italy, to work as a sailing and wind surf instructor.
Shortly after Clews moved to Volda, Norway, for a year to study media production at Høgskulen i Volda.
Here she worked with Seil Norge and X2 Festivalen as a video producer and reporter.
In summer 2024, she became a registered Maine Sea Kayak Guide and worked for Castine Kayak Adventures in Castine, Maine.
Completing her last year of univeristy in Rome, Clews will graduate from JCU in May 2025.
