LOCATIONS

There are many places to find birds in Rome. The historical gardens, the archaeological sites, and the banks of the Tiber represent the ideal habitat for numerous species of birds. Not far from the city center, areas such as coastal wetlands, the Veio Regional Park, Tolfa mountains, and the Tuscia are of great interest for birdwatching.

There are also the Blue Rock-thrush, Firecrest, Sardinian Warbler, Pheasant, and Song Thrush. There is also some overlap with the gardens!
