Food & Drink

Our favorite restaurants that can be found in Rome!

Voglia Di Pizza

This pizza restaurant near Campo Dei Fiori has the best gluten free pizza I have ever eaten, and I have eaten a lot of pizza. I’ve been there so many times and I’m proud to be one of the customers that will have “sempre lo stesso,” (the usual.) The pizza I always order is a Margherita pizza with prosciutto cotto. Almost every time I get this pizza but everything else at this restaurant is delicious. -Anna

Tonnarello

A classic Trastevere spot that is always full of people with big plates full of delicious looking food in front of them. None of the food we have eaten here has disappointed us. Tonnarello is always a good choice.

Pandali

This is a gluten-free bakery near the pantheon that bakes the sweetest Italian treats GF style! Not the mention the delicious calzones and supplì that they have in the afternoons. This is one of the few places that you can buy GF pizza by the slice. I sometimes stop by for lunch when I’m on my way to class for a quick bite to eat! It’s high-quality on the go food, and in a perfect location.

Gelato

As for gelato our all-time favorite is Punto Gelato because they have about 10 different variations of chocolate and everything is decadent down to the homemade whipped cream. We always go here when we feel like we need something sweet. This tiny gelateria in Trastevere has the absolute best Nutella gelato we’ve ever eaten. This may be because it pretty much tastes like really cold Nutella that is thick but melts in your mouth.
