Dissociative Identity Disorder
Symptoms:
exhibits neurological changes when changing personalities, irrational behavior, extreme thoughts and habits, extreme changes in behavior, insomnia, loses and then regains chunks of memory depending on which "personality" she is currently exhibiting, emotionally unstable
Treatment:
psychotherapy, fluvoxamine, clonazepam, lorazepam, oxcarbazepine, gabapentin, divalproex sodium, iloperidone
Notes:
Has extensive history of drug abuse, seems to be aware of her state. Exhibits much desire and drive to get better. Sometimes exhibits potential for violent behavior. Exhibits violent thoughts. Visible effort to suppress violent. Keeps track of different personalitis with help of therapist. Consistant need for larger dosage of medications.
