Faneuil Hall

faneuilhall

Faneuil Hall is one of Boston's most popular tourist attractions every year. Located close to the waterfront and Government Center, Faneuil Hall is centrally located in the heart of the city. It has been used as a marketplace and meeting hall since 1743. Today, Faneuil Hall is filled with popular shops, restaurants, and the city's Christmas tree (in season). Samuel Adams is widely known for giving a number of speeches here.

Faneuil Hall holds a great deal of history. This was the site where Mitt Romney signed Massachusetts healthcare bill. It is also where Barack Obama gave a speech about the Affordable Care Act. Finally, this site is also where Boston Mayor Thomas Menino was laid in state following his death in 2014.

Faneuil Hall is a great site to visit for young teens, families, adults, and older people. There is something for everyone to do and enjoy. I encourage people to walk on both sides of Quincy Market in order to fully absorb everything that Faneuil Hall has to offer.
