Cars

Cars have, arguably, the widest range. It goes all the way from a Toyota Corolla to a Bugatti Chiron. You can spend anywhere from $1,000 to $50,000,000. We will primarily be focusing on the lower end of that scale, almost exclusively, in fact. If you are shopping for a non-collector performance car, look for one no more than a few years old. Most performance cars are notorious for being unreliable, and the unrelibility becuase a sigfinicant problem with age. If you're lokoing for a bargain, look for a low end car that is only a couple of years old. A Toyota or Honda can be had for 2/3 of the price only a couple years after it was sold new, but they frequently have low miles, and you can just load them up with more miles as they are renowned for their reliability. Maintenance costs are also kept very low due to their high availability. The downside to these cars is that they really have no fun to them. If you are looking for something that is fun, comfortable, and affordable, look at BMW and Mercedes-Benz. They can be had for a reasonable price wihtout being too old. THey are fun to drive and very reliable. 300,000 miles can be put on most German cars without issue. What's the downside? Maintenence. When it has to be done, it's not cheap. This is due to premium parts and premium mechanics. Unless you can do it yourslef or have a connection with a good mechanic, be prepared far expensive repair bills. Sports cars will be our final category. Porsche. They make premium sports cars at the best value at that level. We won't even mention maintenance costs on this one. It's not a low number.
